Hugh Malone Jr. - hugh@valleywoodcraft.com
Woodworking is second nature to Hugh Malone Jr. He has been working for the family business for as long as he can remember. In 1995, he became President of Valley Woodcraft, when his father decided it was time to retire.
As the company's President, Hugh handles the overall management of Valley Woodcraft. He designs and implements mechanics for manufacturing the various wood products that are available. Hugh is also in charge of sales and purchasing for the company.
Hugh received a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration from Wilkes College, where he met his wife Deborah. Together, they have a son, Shawn and a daughter, Jessica.
When Hugh has time off from his hectic schedule, he enjoys flying aircraft with his brother, Dan. He also keeps his woodworking skills sharp by constructing wooden kayaks. And he loves a good book.
Hugh upholds the principles of "Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth" and is involved in charity and community service activities, as a member of the Fraternal Order of the Freemasons.
Daniel Malone - dan@valleywoodcraft.com
Daniel Malone became Vice President of Valley Woodcraft when his father Hugh Sr. retired in 1995. He is involved with sales and acts as the quality manager. Dan also programs the Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing software, which are utilized in the creation of the wood parts and products.
Dan received a Bachelors of Science in Aviation and Applied Sciences from Thomas Edison State College in Trenton, New Jersey. He is also a retired Lieutenant Colonel of the 111th Fighter Wing of the Pennsylvania Air National Guard. He served in the Gulf War as an A-10 Pilot and Maintenance Officer. Dan was recognized for his military service when he received the 1st Annual George W. Bush Officer of the Year Award in November 2001.
Dan is a certified flight instructor and enjoys being in the air whenever he gets a chance. He also enjoys building experimental aircraft and is a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association; a group devoted to strengthening and supporting interest in recreational aviation. When he's not piloting an airplane or building a new one, he takes pleasure in fishing.
Dan is also a practicing member of the Fraternal Order of the Freemasons.

Deb Malone joined the team when her mother-in-law, Patricia, decided to semi-retire from her office managing duties in 1999. After careful consideration about working with her husband, Hugh Jr., on a daily basis, she decided to take the position of Valley Woodcraft's office manager.
As office manager, she handles all of the finances. Anything that is shipped, received, billed or paid goes through her hands first. She manages all the books and takes care of payroll for all the employees in the company.
Deb received a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and Bachelors of Arts in Sociology from Wilkes College.
When she isn't working the numbers for Valley Woodcraft, Deb enjoys getting lost in a good book or cooking a delicious meal for her family. She also likes to stay in shape by doing Pilates and taking long walks with her dog, Jake.
